Even though dance music was crucial in the global success of K-Pop and the proliferation of Hallyu, The Korean Wave, it was difficult to figure out any written record on the history of Korean music dance. Won-rae GANG and Sung-gun PARK’s The Dance: 100 Years of Korean Dance Music illustrates the past and present of dance music in Korean society beginning in the 1930s.
